Butterfly Issues!!

Hi Class,


For this weeks picture assignment I decided to take a picture of a monarch butterfly.  My hopes were to capture it as it hatched which you can see in the picture and then take a couple pictures after its wings had dried.  Unfortunately this guy didn't come out of its chrysalis right and as you can see his/her wings didn't fully develop.  My kids and I do the whole caterpillar life cycle for fun, so I am no stranger to things not going right.  I already have a butterfly that I have been feeding for about two weeks.  We shall see if this one makes it!

    it's amazing that you were able to capture these pictures...I love butterflies and I have a cool picture of a monarch Caterpillar on my hand...along with its; fuzzy green poop :)

    It's tricky to do point of view with something small like that which you can't really get "under". You did a good job with side, bird's eye and kind side-bird's-eye.
